BIB®

BIB® ”ballong-i-ballong”-kateter är en innovativ produkt framtagen av pionjären NuMED för att sätta in stentar i en tvåstegs implantationsprocess. Detta gör att stentar kan öppnas eller expanderas jämnt och placeras korrekt i kärlet. Den inre ballongen på BIB®-katetern är halva diametern på den yttre ballongen och är 1,0 cm kortare i längd. BIB® finns i diameter 12.0-30.0 mm och längd 2.5-6.5 cm.

Unika fördelar med BIB®:

Inre ballonguppblåsning tillåter stentens expansion att börja från centrum av stenten. Stenten greppas stadigt på ballongen för att möjliggöra finpositionering innan den slutliga expansionen genom att blåsa upp den yttre ballongen. När stenten är i den idealiska positionen blåses den yttre ballongen upp för precisionsplacering. Tvåstegsprocessen minskar risken för asymmetrisk stentöppning och att stenten lossnar.

Kateterkroppen är av polymer, DEHP-fri och inte gjord av naturgummilatex. Ballongen är en icke-kompatibel termoplastisk elastomer som inte kommer att överstiga +/- 10 % av den märkta ballongstorleken vid nominellt tryck.
